Paid Internship Program
In this program, a company hires a paid intern. Their wages and expenses are covered by a third party. Interns are carefully matched to roles that align with their skills and interests, ensuring mutual benefit and job satisfaction.
Our team provides training and resources to ensure a smooth integration of the intern into the workforce. Ongoing support and guidance are available to both intern and the company’s staff.
Supported Employment Program
In a group or “Enclave” the community works at the sites of local employers. As part of this program, the participant works a minimum of 20 hours per week, five days a week and is paid for all work performed. Arc supervisors will help participants learn job tasks. Some weekend and Holiday work is possible. When a participant is ready, advancement into individual placement is encouraged.
Individual Employment Placement
An Arc vocational program designed for workers with developmental disabilities who are ready to work independently in the community.
