Employment Services
Work Activity Program
In the contract services program, our participants work Monday through Friday for a maximum of 4 hours per day at Arc Industries. In combination with paid work, the base programs also assist you as you develop educational, social, and other job skills, as well as traits of a good worker.
In this program, staff provides supervision and support throughout your workday.
Supported Employment Program
In a group or “Enclave” the community works at the sites of local employers. As part of this program, the participant works a minimum of 20 hours per week, five days a week and is paid for all work performed. Arc supervisors will help participants learn job tasks. Some weekend and Holiday work is possible. When a participant is ready, advancement into individual placement is encouraged.
Individual Employment Placement
An Arc vocational program designed for workers with developmental disabilities who are ready to work independently in the community.
