The ARC Imperial Valley is the Valley’s leading community non-profit corporation serving individuals with disabilities especially developmental disabilities. We provide employment, vocational preparation, residential, paratransit, and other specialized training programs to over 1000 people per month.
Arc is funded by San Diego Regional Center, the California Department of Rehabilitation and through the support of AbilityOne sponsored Federal Contracts, other contracts, businesses, and individuals.
For over 40 years the Arc has been part of many successful stories. Stories in which individuals with tremendous potential and enthusiasm are given opportunities to develop without regard to their intellectual disability. Below you will find a description of the various Arc programs and services, which may be perfect for you or someone you care about.
There are no charges for Arc Imperial Valley programs and services. To be eligible, an individual must meet the requirement for funding authorization with the Department of Rehabilitation.

Arc Imperial Valley offers qualified individuals a chance to work on federal government contracts via the AbilityOne program. Program Participants can earn levels of accomplishment through STARS Program while being trained in the janitorial industry. The Arc is the largest janitorial service provider in the Imperial Valley.
Arc Imperial Valley offers a range of services for individuals that require much support to those that are ready to work in the community. The Maureen Kimball Adult Development Center, Behavioral Program, and The Activity Center provide skills building and vocational opportunities for qualified individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.

Offering a living alternative for adults with intellectual disabilities, Arc’s Residential Services recognizes the various needs and challenges of our residents. We are an Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled-Habilitative Population (ICF/DD-H).
